French/Romanian filmmaker Sebastien Nuta grew up in LA fascinated by all the different cultures that surrounded him. This interest quickly fueled his creative inspiration as he sought to tell stories that were character-driven, citing Joan Didion and Gus Van Sant as early influences.
While studying directing at Chapman University, he further developed his visual style by working as cinematographer on a variety of projects, from short films to music videos, and even a feature film.
Since graduating, Sebastien has been creating projects with close collaborators while developing his first feature film, Paradise Village, which will be shot on location in New Jersey.
